Budgeting

Dear Students:

One way of saving money is to pay attention of the shops where the prices are cheaper. Here I have a list of some of these places:

Groceries:

  • Super Store  (Burnaby)
  • No Frills:
    • Alma and 4th avenue
    • Fir and 4th avenue
    • Broadway and Cambie

Both of them are from the same owners

  • Fruit and vegetables: Young Brothers and Balaclava (only cash)

Beauty, health wellness, homeware, photo lab, electronics, etc.:

London Drugs

There are located in a many places around the city

Home furnishing, living room, bed, kitchen

http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/

Located in Burnaby

Also there are some stores that sell used items:

In Macdonald and Broadway there is one that is from the Salvation Army Thrift Store.

To conclude this web page is excellent to find jobs, used items, sell items, etc.
